The Quechee Times is a local, quarterly newspaper covering the “good people, good places, and good things” happening in historic Quechee, Vermont and the surrounding area. Through our unique journal we endeavor to bring a smile to the faces of each or our readers by sharing stories of the exceptional people, businesses and organizations that make the Quechee area a wonderful place to live, play and work. Faced with the sea of negative news we are exposed to every day, we hope to be a reminder of the goodness that still exists all around us.
The Quechee Times is a labour of love which relies on the assistance of dedicated community members who volunteer their time and talent to contribute articles and photographs. About the Village of Quechee
Quechee, known for its charming covered bridge near the old Quechee mill, is located along the picturesque Ottaquechee River, and is home to Quechee Gorge, also known as “Vermont’s little Grand Canyon.” Thanks in part to being the home of one of New England’s most beautiful natural wonders, the Quechee area is a thriving tourist area, welcoming over 200,000 visitors annually. The area, also popular for its quaint village, is well-known as a hot-spot for outdoor activities, such as fishing, camping, cross country skiing and hiking.
