Hartford High School Seniors Prepare for Class Trip

Seniors Nolan Pichtel and Adrian Layne were busy getting passing traffic to stop by the bake sale.

After Fall Fest and on my way home, I drove past Quechee Gorge Village and was flagged down by some Hartford High School seniors waving pom-poms at the entrance advertising their bake sale.

As it turns out, the Village was bustling that day, with an outdoor antique market and a bake sale full of goodies. The Hartford High School Class of 2025 is fundraising money for their senior class trip in the spring: they’re choosing between Boston, Portland, or Lake George for a long day trip. The seniors are split into committees to price out and plan itineraries for each of the trip options, and the student council will vote on which trip they want to take. After the fact, I found out that the class raised just over $1,000 from the bake sale!
